The whole thing with Bull Lee and his family in New Orleans made me really sad. Him and his wife are so messed up with drugs, and they have no money and have two kids they need to feed. I don't know, reading that part if the story I find really depressing. There are so many people in this book that are depending on every last cent to feed their families and their drug addictions.
But on another note, was anybody else laughing at the part when Dean, Sal and Marylou's car gets stuck in the mud? I was almost laughing outloud, it reminded me of some kind of cartoon.
