ahhhhh Judy! I know exactly what you're talking about Sarah. Wow that show was ages ago. I knew the beats reminded me of someone, now I know who.
Anyways, in response to the marriage comment, Sal has always said that he's been searching for a woman to marry. I mean, look at Terry, but like always he ends up leaving. Honestly, I payed no attention to Lucille when she was mentioned, cause I knew she was going to be forgotten.
I don't agree with that statement that Sal doens't like the life he's living. I think he's just searching for a lifestyle that he can commit to. I mean, in the past 100 pages he's been a cotton picker, a bum, a college student, and always has unrealistic dreams about what life could be like. He never complains about what he is in now, but he is always dreaming about something better and making plans for the future. And doens't it seem like he enjoys himself with Bull Lee in New Orleans or during the drives with Dean and Marylou? I don't necessarily agree that he hates the way he is living now, but it is evident that he's searching for something.
