I think it's for the best that the gang breaks up. I didn't like how Dean had such an influence over Carlo and especially Sal. I felt like throughout Part II, Sal was barely thinking for himself; he was simply following Dean's orders, suggestions, and goals. Maybe now that they are apart, Sal will be able to make his own decisions and achieve what HE truely wants to as opposed to Dean's interests.
