Chapters 11-12

Wow, I'm barely going to get this in on time. So here's my thoughts:
I love Adam's analysis of Sal's name, I thought it was really cool. I believe that that explains a lot about what people said earlier(I forget who it was but whoever mentioned the fact that he always "screws things up". I dont' think Sal is truly screwing things up, but merely trying to experience a million different things to find whatever it is he is looking for.
I found Ms Siegal's comparison to Prime really interesting as well, especially because I love that movie lol! I believe Sal is really just trying to "get messy in life", because to him that is the true way to live it. It plays into his observer personality as well, in that in order to really observe everything out there, he has to try everything out there.

And yes, I also agree with Lauren. I'm loving this book more and more as I read it. There are so many parts where I can just picture what's happening, and yes, I too have laughed out loud a bunch of times when reading it.
