This section is driven by such controversial topics: race, sex, etc. This book does not cease to weird me out.
A part that especially stood out to me: “My terrific darling beautiful daughter can now stand alone for thirty seconds at a time, she weights 22 pounds, is 29 inches long. I’ve just figured out she is 31 ¼ % English, 27 ½ %Irish, 25% German, 8 ¾ % Dutch, 7 ½ Scotch, and 100% wonderful.”
It’s so cute that he’s changed by his baby, and it’s yet more proof to the world that a baby will change your life. Sorry, Zoe, but I'm going to have to disagree with you: It’s quite annoying that once he’s started to settle down and get his life sorted out again, Chamille kicks him out of the house, and he’s back on the road. True, he was a loser at one point, and might still retain those qualities, but I think theres a bit of loser-ness in all of us, but we can all fix it. I think there's so much hope in Dean. Whereas Sal, he's still just wandering...
