Okay, I finally remembered who Dean reminds me of. I am going to pull a Chels: he reminds me of the guy in the movie Casanova, who is a guy that is happy hopping from bed to bed, satisfying a bunch of women and not worrying about relationships or even second dates.
Well anyway, in these chapters, Dean is portrayed on a different note. Personally, I think he is a freak now. Before I thought he was a guy that would be really fun to hang out with because he is so crazyyyy! But now, not so much. He has lost his mind, he wanted Marylou to kill him and his health is deteriorating.
When these chapters started, I wanted to really scream. Why would Sal go back west AGAIN?? I mean hasn't that failed enough.
Also, I thought that at the softball game, Sal expressed his longing to create a new life. He equates 'blacks' as having joyous lives.
Lastly, I am so PROUD of Camille for dumping that guy on the street, I mean come on how long did it have to take for her to realize what a big LOSER he is?
